ps know all about the 'tension too tight'. Still have a lopsided bunny rug I made where I was learning this. I got it right by the end (hence the lopsidedness, which the babies never noticed) and it was easier on the fingers and hands!

Crochet is relaxing, and once it becomes routine, you can do it while concentrating on something else (TV? or watching a littlie do a puzzle?).

Congratulations on being brave and working it all out for yourself, in your own way. Make that 'yourselves'.

I found a bike with a dinky seat really good - even if I only used it sometimes - I could ride one way to pre-school/school with little one on the back, and then we could walk the other way together (sometimes with other kids I was 'picking up') and the littlie could stay sitting on the dinkie seat and didn't have to walk.
