Cooking up a storm

Has it really been nearly a month since I blogged? :O Thanks to the people who emailed me to check I'm still alive and kicking. :)

So, what have I been up to? In the last few days, lots and lots of cooking! On Friday and Saturday I made:
- a batch of sausage rolls for us
- a batch of sausage rolls for a friend who has recently welcomed her third child into the world
- some spinach and ricotta pastries
- 2 family-size meals of chicken and vegetable soup
- vegetarian nachos/burritos topping (lots of yummy beans and chickpeas)
- an ice-cube try full of lime juice from the sad limes in the fruit bowl
- nasi goreng (a big family favourite here)
- 2 batches of shortbread cookies - one was decorated by Annie (see picture below) and then baked, the other frozen for later use
- a loaf of fruit bread

And today I made
- 4 meals worth of meat-based nachos/burritos topping
- chocolate brownies (cheated and used a packet for this one!)
- another loaf of fruit bread
- vanilla butter cupcakes which Annie and I decorated and took to Callum's class for afternoon tea.

YUM!!!

Yummo Cass, I love Nasi Goreng too.
I wished I could cook or even had the patience to cook but I don't. lol

I took an extended blogging holiday too, you know when you have stayed away from blogger for too long when you start getting spam comments. lol
