Happy (hot) 11th anniversary!

11 years ago I married the man of my dreams. It was one of the happiest days of my life, and it was also one of the hottest days I've ever experienced. It was 41 degrees (celsius) that day. The hottest day of the entire summer and the hottest February day ever recorded at the local weather station.

Today is almost as hot. I saw it reach 39.2, but maybe it was higher. I'm fortunate enough to be hiding out in my bedroom with Callum, Annabelle and the air conditioner. Poor Dale is outside in the heat performing a lion dance and a kung fu demonstration to celebrate Chinese New Year at one of the Chinese restaurants in Wollongong. :S

Happy anniversary to the sweetest, most wonderful, supportive, caring man I have ever met. I am honoured to be your wife and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you.
