In the past week and a half I've had my own personal trainer jog with me. They jog alongside me sprouting encouraging comments such as "Come on, let's jog a bit more" (when I'm walking) or "Look, I am walking at the same speed you're jogging" (when I am actually jogging!). They slept in this morning so I got to go out jogging by myself. It was so peaceful! :)
I went to my first yoga class last night. I'll be honest, I didn't really know what to expect and I wasn't sure that I'd last 1.5 hours of whatever it turned out to be. Turns out I loved it. The peacefulness, the focus, the stretching (oh my aching muscles today!), the calmness of it all. Loved, loved, loved it.
I wonder if Annabelle should have been born in the '80s!

Fantastic effort with the new fitness routine, well done Cass. I have never done yoga either and often wondered if my muscles would cope.
I love your new layouts, always a pleasure to see your creations again. I can't believe how fast the kids are growing up. Can't you press a pause button to slow down time.....lol:)
The salad you made from your own home grown crop looks yummy, another great achievement!
Happy Australia Day to you all. I hope you have a great day.

We used to do some sort of activity long ago when I was in the Girl Guides, which we called 'Scout's Pace', which was 20 steps jogging, 20 steps walking, repeated until the activity was completed. It was said that it conserved your energy and enabled you to get places further and faster than if you tried to run or walk all the way.
Seems you worked this out for yourself.
And the yoga is good for the head as well as the body.
Shaping up for a fantastic 2011 for you.
d.
yeah! Jogging and Yoga!
